Weekend in Review

We had a busy weekend, as always! On Friday night we hosted my Mom and several of her girlfriends for cocktail hour. They were in town for the Stone Mountain Arts Festival, and were able to come by the house for a quick tour and glass of wine! It was great to see everyone, especially since we had not seen her friends since the wedding.

After they left for dinner Tyler and I got in the car and drove to Woodstock, GA to look at a car for me. The drive is not normally an hour long, but with traffic on a Friday night it took FOREVER to get there. The car was nice and in great condition, but I still wasn't ready to commit. We had dinner and then headed home.

Saturday we got up, and after a workout (for me) Tyler went to go shooting with his guys and I headed to a hair appointment. We both got home just in time to watch a little bit of the Auburn game before getting ready to go to our friends Brian and Crystal's wedding.

The wedding was absolutely lovely! It was outside, and so intimate. They asked the guests in attendance to witness for them and I thought that was such a sweet gesture and it made everyone feel like they were an integral part of the ceremony.

Following the ceremony they had yummy food and great music! We partied well past my bed time (which is easy to do!). It was a great wedding and we wish them the best!!

On Sunday we went to church, and then Tyler had to work at Orvis.

So, that was our weekend. Nothing too exciting, but we are looking forward to celebrating our first Halloween together and can't wait to hand out candy to the kids in our neighborhood!!
