Happy Easter!

Happy Good Friday to everyone! Tyler and I are so excited to spend our first Easter together, and we are looking to hosting everyone at our home on Sunday. My parents will be in town, and Ted & Sheila, Trey, Mary Kathryn & McKinley and Mary Kathryn's parents will all be there to help us celebrate Easter.

We kicked off our Easter festivities by dying eggs last night. Actually Tyler, the self-proclaimed master of pumpkin carving and Easter egg dying, did most of the work. Any time Tyler gets animated about a project like this, I let him take over because he is just so cute doing it! So we agonized over which colors to use, should we marble-ize some, etc. The entire process took over 2 hours...definitely not how I remember doing it in Mema's kitchen. But it was fun! Here is a picture of our, or rather Tyler's Easter eggs. We look forward to hiding them for McKinley to find on Sunday!
